A lady that lunches...

Had a wonderful lunch yesterday with some very old friends. I say lunch, we got there at 1.30, didn't eat until after 2.30 and didn't leave until 5.30! Now THAT'S how you do lunch! Amongst my friends, the lovely Aileen debuted her bump to the 'London massive'. I'm very jealous (in a pleased for her kind of way,) as she has the neatest, 24-week bump I've ever seen (you can so tell she's having a boy.) She seems so well, despite life being quite stressful for her and the very picture of maternal. I'm so pleased for her, it's been so long in coming - and I hope I can be half the mum I know she's going to be.

If her pregnancy is anything to go by, maybe I'm worrying too much? I'm not going to look like an elephant and I won't look like a fashion disaster. It is possible to look like a normal, well turned out human being! lol

It was also nice to be able to talk about it. Everyone there knew, unlike the wider world. It felt so nice not keeping it a secret and not having to hide the podge!

Speaking of podge, here it as of yesterday morning... I look so top heavy!!!
