21 weeks and yes, once again, I'm reeeeally late posting this *shame face*
Here we go again. We're 'up the duff' again, so here's to a second, amazing journey from bean to bump, with a little Dylan along the way!

Our eventful twenty week scan
Well THAT was interesting!! The little sod was in a terrible position. The hospital brought in additional scanning procedure this week, predominantly additional heart scanning. Guess who is the first person who they couldn't get a clear scan of and is being recalled in two weeks? Despite lying in a crap position, they've managed to check everything and everything looks ok. However the bad position extended to the 'bottom half' view. However, it's looking, thought not 100%, like a....
GIRL!
So not so much blue or pink but purpley-pink!
We've got to go back for a follow up scan on 3rd May, so hopefully she'll (yes, I'm going to go with she for now) give us a better view then - top and bottom!
Bump watch pic to follow in the morning...

Half way... Yikes!!!
Wow. Half way. Blimey.
Scan at 2pm today and very nervous! I've not really worried this pregnancy, but now I'm terrified - what if there's something wrong? Not having had a major road accident this time, it would be sods law if something went wrong with this 'normal' pregnancy. Very excited about finding out if it's a girl or boy, but mostly I'm doing 19.5 weeks worrying over the past 48 hours...
In other news, congratulations to the Goodisons who welcomed baby Wren Blossom into the world on Sunday! Yey! :-D

Freaking out!!!
Well, I’m officially freaking out today. As the Kearn family welcome their daughter Madison Rose into the world, suddenly my bun in the oven is feeling all too real. Today I’ve been flooded with emotions (I’m mostly blaming the hormones I’ve decided.) Will we be able to cope with two? Will Dylan get on with his brother or sister? Will Dylan be end up a bit neglected by only having half my attention? Can I cope with sleepless nights again? Will I go a bit crazy again? Will I go more crazy this time? Will number two be harder than Dylan?
See, I’m a big bag of crazy and mental today… *sigh*
I’m just trying to focus on this time next week, when hopefully be in the scan room having our 20 week scan and finding out what flavour this rapidly-expanding bump is.
In the meantime, congrats once again to the Kearns – we can’t wait to meet her!

Bump Watch - 19 weeks
Ok, so I've been officially crap at blogging this time round but:
a) I'm running round after a two year old.
b) Holding down two jobs where as last time I was laid up with a shattered leg
c) I have a house like a builder yard and a new allotment.
d)... Ok I'll stop now. Can you tell I'm feeling guilty? I'm just so busy and so permanently knackered, the 'blog guilt' is just the icing on the cake :-(
In happier news, our lovely friends the Kearn's will be welcoming their daughter into the world today - BLOODY EXCITING!!! Good luck to them and I can't wait to meet Miss Kearn asap!
Right, one tired and moody bump watch pic coming up. I can't believe it's a week until our 20 week scan. I'll finally be able to stop going "she, I mean he/she" an will have the fun of probably telling people that despite being utterly convinced it's a girl, it's actually a boy after all... :-)

Bump Watch - 18 weeks and other random bemoanings
Less than a fortnight now until my scan and we get to find out the 'flavour' of my bump. As I'm constantly craving anything sweet (and I've never had a sweet tooth) and orange juice, the old wives tales say pink; but who knows...
It's been an 'interesting' week. Alex and I have had the week of and have been leisurely tackling various DIY jobs such as erecting a lovely purple shed, sorting the office and making Dylan fall in love with a lawn mower... as you do.
I've also been in increasing amounts of pain, which is fun, culminating in a late night trip to the out of hours docs and a tentative diagnosis of SPD. I won't go into what this now, a I'm on my way to a rather nice Good Friday lunch at Granny and Grancher's, and my mind is somewhat elsewhere! What I would say thought, is I'm a bit doubtful about the diagnosis. I'm also Hopi g it's wrong as it has the possibility to hang around for the rest of the pregnancy and, worst case scenario, become quite debilitating.
Hence why I'm thinking about lunch. Hmmm food....
Anyway, here's the bump watch pic plus our new shed and Dylan as the 'Pied Piper of lawn mower'.
Happy Easter!
