Still not written up Dyl's birth story, but had a brain wave - here's the entire Twitter feed cut-and-pasted so you can see what I was tweeting during my labour!:
Going into hospital. Either waters went or i've pee'd myself in a very dramatic fashion. Contractions less than 5 mins apart...

... As i'm utterly exhausted already. Despite not wanting to, am going to have to have pethadine to control pain levels so i can rest.

(Alex) Can't believe she lasted until 5pm with no drugs, not even gas and air! The pethadine seems to have done little :-(

4 weeks on... sorry for the absence!

It's four weeks since I had Dylan and it's been very tough, hence my absence from here! I've drafted the birth story on here countless times, but haven't made it to the end yet, as I've just been too upset. I'm going to aim to do it on or by 1st Feb, Dylan's one month birthday! Anyway, for now, here's the key details:
Dylan Henry Ivor Davis was born on 1st January 2010 at 8.46am by emergency c section under general anaesthetic, after his heart rate suddenly dropped. He was born a healthy 8lbs 2oz, screaming his head off, much to everyone's relief! We came home on 5th January, in heavy snow.
A more detailed post and pics to follow soon, when my laptop is back from the menders!
